This is the best Japanese restaurant in Sydney I’ve ever had. Not only food, they are very professional. They use very good tableware. Everything is perfect. I’m obsessed with this restaurant.

To start their service was fantastic and reminded me of the level of service provided in Japan. Their food however was on another level, I had a yakiniku beef poke bowl and loved it so much I basically cleaned their bowl. Their nigiri was also really good and they provided us with an extra piece, along with corn ribs (which were great btw) as a service as they were delayed in the kitchen. TLDR: GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT VIBE

The truffle edamame was really nice and bountiful in portion size. It just works really well. The sushi platter I ordered was the small “Sushi & Sashimi Set”. It has all of your favorites and quality wise these were on the higher end than most good japanese sushi restaurants, (like Hiro! ) and I'm glad to say the reviews for this establishment was a good sign. They don't highlight it here but unlike in the menu photo of the dish I selected, it seems one came with the higher end nigiri 'Salmon belly' variant. I wonder if that makes it a rarer occasion. There's also a seared one and your other classics, so you don't miss out on everything! Everything below is just less usual things I'd point out for this visit I want to point out my discrepancy with open door restaurants and the fact this is where they serve, cook and prepare fish. I'm aware air for circulation is good sometimes, but if you have an aircon and it's being used (which they did this time in Kanae) you don't need to leave room for the occasional flies to sometimes wonder around where the fish is. It wasn't bad but, the owners logic was flawed here in this instance.
